Statement by Citizens United President David N. Bossie on newly disclosed Wendy Sherman video

“The newly disclosed 2013 video of former Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman discussing how Hillary Clinton sent sensitive government information with her blackberry device is the latest reason why Attorney General Loretta Lynch must appoint an impartial special counsel to investigate these constantly evolving and extremely serious allegations. A federal investigation into the Democratic frontrunner for President of the United States during an election season is an extraordinary circumstance. Attorney General Lynch must do what is right by our justice system and that is to get this investigation out of the hands of Democratic political appointees at the Department of Justice immediately.”
