Texas v. Pennsylvania Amicus Brief (2020 Presidential Election)

Citizens United, Citizens United Foundation and The Presidential Coalition have filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court urging the court to permit Texas to challenge the manner in which Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia chose their Presidential Electors in the 2020 presidential election.  The brief explains why the Framers vested the exclusive authority in state legislatures for deciding the “manner” in which presidential electors are elected, and why it is important for the Supreme Court to enforce that authority against the Defendant states in light of their failures to follow the processes mandated by their respective legislatures.
