Citizens United Launching LiveByYourLaws.com Spending $100,000 On National Media Campaign

11/05/2013

Washington, DC -- Citizens United announced a $100,000 national media campaign launching LiveByYourLaws.com with Louisiana Senator David Vitter (R-LA). Senator Vitter has been instrumental with the Vitter Amendment targeting the Washington elite who orchestrated a special deal to exempt themselves from Obamacare. The media campaign will kick off with a television advertisement featuring Senator Vitter that will run nationally on cable and we will also launch a dynamic internet ad campaign. You can watch the ad here.

Title: “Backroom Deal” TV (:60)

Senator David Vitter:

It was a backroom political deal:

Barack Obama ignored the law and issued a special rule. He exempted Congress from the pain of Obamacare and gave them a huge taxpayer-funded subsidy for their healthcare that no one else gets.

So, while American’s are losing their jobs, their healthcare… their patience, Congress gets a special exemption and subsidy.

Insider deals like this are why no one trusts Washington.

But we can fight back by making Washington live by the laws it passes on everyone else.

Let’s end the Washington exemption from Obamacare by acting now.

If you think Washington should live by the same laws as everyone else, sign our petition today.

Studio Voice-over:
