Celebrating Constitution Day With “Our Sacred Honor”
226 years ago today, our Founding Fathers were gathered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and officially adopted the Constitution of the United States. And on this anniversary of this important founding document, it’s important to reflect on the important principles this nation was founded on and the intent of those who authored our Constitution.
“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
Let this day serve as a reminder of what we are fighting for as conservatives. Our fight is not for a party, but for the principles laid out by our Founders. This fight does not end after elections, or setbacks, we must never falter in our quest to protect the vision laid out on September 17, 1787 and lead the charge for the cause of liberty.
