Washington, DC — Citizens United President David N. Bossie, issued the following statement on the passing of media icon Andrew Breitbart.

“It is with a heavy heart that I learned of the passing of my dear friend and colleague Andrew Breitbart this morning,” said David N. Bossie, President of Citizens United. “Andrew was a doting father of four young children and my heart breaks for his wife Susie in this trying time. Andrew was a trailblazer and icon when it came to internet based media. He was truly a one of a kind transformational figure and warrior in the conservative movement and he will be sorely missed. The entire Citizens United family has lost a dear friend today and our thoughts and prayers go out to the Breitbart family. Citizens United will be dedicated to honoring Andrew’s legacy in the coming weeks and months.”
