Des Moines Register: Rick Perry will attend abortion forum in Des Moines with Mike Huckabee
A fourth presidential candidate has now committed to be at an abortion forum in Des Moines hosted by Mike Huckabee on Dec. 14.
Rick Perry will join Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum for the event – as well as the more than 1,000 Iowans who have RSVP’ed, organizers said.
An anti-abortion documentary “The Gift of Life” will make its debut that night. The documentary was produced by Citizens United, the company made famous by a U.S. Supreme Court case that opened the door for unlimited spending on election ads by corporations.
