Kicking the Social Security Can Down the Road

America is facing an exploding $14 trillion national debt because our “leaders” in Washington do not want to take on the entitlement programs. Senator Dick Durbin (D-Ill) all but said today that Social Security reform will not come up in the United States Senate during this Congress. Social Security must be addressed to get America’s fiscal house in order. The United States Senate needs leaders that will have the courage to make the tough decisions. Future generations will suffer from the inaction of today’s Washington.
