At Citizens United, we are having a little early holiday fun with the fact that Democrats are regifting Nancy Pelosi as their leader once again in the House of Representatives. Pelosi as Democrat Minority Leader is as popular as a Christmas fruitcake – and nobody wants a fruitcake. In fact, Nancy Pelosi is only 1% more popular than fruitcake according to public opinion polls!

To spoof on this fact, Citizens United has produced three 30 second web ads that feature a Nancy Pelosi Fruitcake popping up in unexpected places. In the first video, called “In the Doghouse,” a dinner date goes horribly wrong when an unsuspecting young man attempts to gift the Nancy Pelosi fruitcake.
