NJ.com: Chris Christie heading back to presidential battleground state of Iowa, report says
TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie reportedly isn’t done with talking to Iowa voters face-to-face, even though the midterm elections have come and gone.
The governor is returning to the first-in-the-nation presidential caucus state in January to attend the “Iowa Freedom Summit,” according to the Associated Press. The event is being co-hosted by U.S. Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) and Citizens United.
It will be the first time Christie returns to the state since the midterm elections. New Jersey’s governor made four trips to Iowa campaigning for fellow Republicans in the lead-up to the Nov. 4 elections.
