Politico Arena: Should Obama donors get plum government jobs?
When you sell “hope” and “change” to the American people and then hire your 2008 campaign’s deputy finance director as a special assistant for presidential personnel, something doesn’t smell right. The American public hates hypocrisy and the story that broke Wednesday in POLITICO reeks of the hypocrisy President Obama campaigned against in 2008. When 80 percent of your top bundlers who raised more than $500,000 for the 2008 campaign land “key administration posts,” you are just playing the same old Washington games. I wonder what jobs will be for sale in the upcoming $1 billion 2012 campaign?
