Politico: Obama/Reid To Blame For Debt Talks Breaking Down

President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Reid are the ones who need to make a deal with Speaker Boehner. President Obama has been completely disengaged with these important talks. As Senate Minority Leader McConnell said yesterday, where in the “world” has President Obama been the past month? Unfortunately, you only have to look at Obama’s schedule and it is filled with fundraisers for his $1 billion reelection campaign.

Senate Majority Leader Reid has been AWOL by not producing a budget in over two years. Small businesses across the country could not be successful if they did not follow a strict budget. This failed leadership has only made our fiscal problems worse. How can the federal government be successful in paying down its debt without a budget?
