The Washington Times: Steve King to host ‘Iowa Freedom Summit’ in January

Rep. Steve King, Iowa Republican, is hosting an event in January dubbed the “Iowa Freedom Summit,” with several possible GOP presidential contenders in 2016 scheduled to attend.

“It’ll be an event that all the nation stops and looks at,” Mr. King told The Des Moines Register. “What gets said and done, some of those things will be driving the conversation in the country.”

The event in January comes about a year out from the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses and is co-hosted by the conservative group Citizens United.
