Cagle Post: It’s Your Chance to Make Your Voice Heard: Exempt America
“If Obamacare isn’t good enough for Big Business, Big Labor, or Big Government, then it isn’t good enough for the American people.”
Soon, Congress will be coming back to the halls of the Capitol building from their so-called “August recess”. And despite the majority of Americans opposing Obamacare and the fact the White House has missed half of Obamacare’s deadlines, Obamacare is about to change healthcare and America as we all know It – for the worse.
As the grassroots support for defunding Obamacare continues to grow and the implementation of the individual mandate rapidly approaches, it’s time to hear from the most important people when it comes to why Obamacare is bad law: it’s time to hear from you the American people. On September 10th, conservative leaders are to rally at the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol to tell Congress once and for all: it’s time to exempt America from Obamacare. This important event is headlined by Senators Mike Lee, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz as well as a number of Members of Congress and other conservative leaders.
As we’ve watched this fight play out over the course of the past three years, two things have become crystal clear: Democrats will stop at absolutely nothing to protect Obamacare, and far too many Republicans are too scared to do what it takes to free American citizens from socialized healthcare in America. Enough is enough. Show Congress that we, the people are not done fighting for our freedoms and against this train wreck of a law.
