Citizens United Releases Membership Presidential Poll Results
Carson, Walker Tied for Lead, Cruz on Their Heels
Washington, DC — Over the past week, Citizens United surveyed a cross-section of our membership nationwide to get a sense of where they stand on 2016 at this early stage.
From June 16th to June 23rd, nearly 4,300 participants took the online poll indicating who their first choice is for President. This is not a scientific poll.

“These results make one thing perfectly clear: grassroots conservatives are fed up with the failed status quo and want their next president to be an outsider with the guts to take on the establishment in Washington, D.C,” said David N. Bossie, President of Citizens United.
Of the 4,300 members polled, the results are as follows:
First Choice for President
Dr. Ben Carson – 18.0%
Governor Scott Walker – 17.9%
Senator Ted Cruz – 15.9%
Mr. Donald Trump – 13.1%
Senator Marco Rubio – 5.5%
Senator Rand Paul – 5.0%
Former Governor Jeb Bush – 4.5%
Former Governor Rick Perry – 4.0%
Former Governor Huckabee – 3.7%
Mrs. Carly Fiorina – 2.6%
Governor John Kasich – 2.0%
Former Senator Rick Santorum – 1.0%
Governor Bobby Jindal – .8%
Governor Chris Christie – .7%
Senator Lindsey Graham – .1%
Former Governor George Pataki – 0%
Other – 1.0%
