Politico: Former Giffords opponent joins Citizens United

Former Republican congressional candidate Jesse Kelly, who last month lost in his special election bid to replace Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.), will join conservative advocacy group Citizens United as an executive, POLITICO has learned.

Kelly will serve as the organization’s development director and lead fundraising and donor outreach efforts for Citizens United. The group gave $120,000 to Kelly during the special election campaign — more than any other outside group, federal records indicate.
