Slate: Citizens United’s Anti-Obama Film The Hope and the Change to Air on TV
As Mitt Romney’s campaign struggles and Barack Obama gains traction in the latest polls, Citizens United is lobbing a grenade into the mix. Its hourlong film The Hope and the Change, which features 40 Obama voters who are disaffected with the president’s first term in office, is coming to television.
The film will air on six cable and six broadcast networks, beginning this week and carrying through Election Day. David Bossie, the group’s president, says he hopes it will reach voters in tens of millions of homes.
