The Unemployment Numbers

The Obama Administration is probably patting itself on the back with today’s unemployment report. The rate fell one tenth of a percent to 8.9%, and it is now below 9% for the first time since April of 2009. Hopefully, the jobs reports continue to get better, but let’s remember that President Obama said his stimulus plan would ensure that the unemployment rate not rise above 8 percent. Mr. Obama’s philosophy that big government and reckless spending helps economic recoveries remains fatally flawed.
