Unemployment Back Up To 9 Percent

The unemployment rate rose to 9 percent for the month of April. There was some job growth but a large percentage of that number can be attributed to a mass hiring of 62,000 by McDonald’s. A staggering total of one million people applied for those McDonalds jobs. When the largest section of job growth is McDonald’s, America’s economy has a systemic problem. Many Americans are underemployed, and the Obama Administration still has yet to offer a credible plan to create well paying jobs.
