Bossie Statement on Supreme Court Same-Sex Marriage Ruling

Washington, D.C. – David Bossie, Citizens United President issued the following statement after the Supreme Court handed down its decision on same-sex marriage in Obergefell v. Hodges.

“Today’s ruling is a disappointment to millions of Americans who believe in traditional marriage. The Supreme Court has substituted its will for that of the people and the states.

This decision only motivates Citizens United to re-double our efforts to preserve religious liberty across our country. We will not sit back and watch the radical left continue to target Christians for our conservative values.”
