Goolsbee’s Getting Off The Titanic

On the same day the Weiner saga sucked up all the media attention in Washington, a more telling picture emerged that was not lewd in nature but showed the state of the Obama Administration’s economic policy. Austan Goolsbee, the head of President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisors, is jumping ship and going back to Chicago at the end of the summer. I guess when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Even President Obama has stopped holding his daily economic briefings.

With the economy only producing 54,000 jobs in May, and the unemployment rate ticking up to 9.1 percent, President Obama’s failed economic policies are coming to roost. President Obama and his team have taken our exceptionally American economy of capitalism, and are trying to convert it into a European style of socialism. Can anybody say Carter 2.0!?
