The Daily Caller: Citizens United President: Hillary’s Desire To Pack Courts To Overturn SCOTUS Is ‘Surreal’

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton promised to pack the courts with judges who would rule in favor of overturning the Citizens United case, and Citizens United president David Bossie is calling such a pledge “surreal.”

“I will do everything I can to appoint Supreme Court justices who protect the right to vote and do not protect the right of billionaires to buy elections,” Clinton told supporters during her trip to Iowa recently, The New York Times reported.

“Hillary Clinton is saying that she will appoint a person to the Supreme Court who will not uphold and defend the First Amendment ought to frighten the American people,” Bossie told One America News. He added that Clinton “fundamentally, wants to throw away the First Amendment based on a case that was critical of [her] … is a little surreal.”
